Sun Blade 100The Sun Blade 100 Workstation is a versatile and expandable member of the Sun Desktop Family which is designed to meet the needs of the price-sensitive customers without the need to sacrifice the performance of the machine.
The Sun Blade 100 includes a 500Mhz UltraSPARC-IIe 64-bit processor (with 256k Cache), 2GB maximum memory capacity, and integrated onto the I/O board is a 10/100BASE-T Ethernet port, 2D Sun PGX64 graphics card with a HD15 connector, four USB ports (two are required for the keyboard and mouse), two IEEE 1394 ports, and a Smartcard reader.
The workstation comes with a 1.44-Mbyte floppy, up to two 15Gb IDE internal hard disks, 48x CD-ROM or 12x DVD-ROM, and three full-length PCI slots as standard. The Sun Blade 100 workstation will only run Solaris 8.
