Sun StorEdge 3910 and 3960 SystemsThe Sun StorEdge 3900 series is the ideal system for providing low cost SAN attach multi-platform storage, simplifying high performance clustering. The StorEdge 3900 series arrays have also been optimised for clustering and is based on the popular T3 Enterprise array.
The SUN StorEdge 3900 Series is available in two configurations. The StorEdge 3910 and 3960. Both configurations are configured with a minimum of one SUN StorEdge T3 Enterprise array pair and 2GB mirrored cache using either 36GB or 73GB 10000rpm hard disks. These systems are provided as complete solutions including SAN switches.
The StorEdge 3910 and 3960 are available with a minimum of one StorEdge T3 Enterprise array (2 trays). The 3910 can be configured with a maximum of four StorEdge T3 Enterprise arrays (8 trays). The 3960 can be configured with a maximum of nine StorEdge T3 Enterprise arrays (18 trays).
The StorEdge 3900 series arrays include two SAN Fibre switches and a 72" cabinet.
