Sun Netra T1120/1125 Server Support Expertise
Independent Sun Netra T1120/1125 Server Support Expertise
Sun Netra t 1120 (DC) and Netra t 1125 (AC) servers are essentially identical except for the operating supply power requirements. These servers are based on the same Ultra computing and Solaris Operating Environment platform as Sun's renowned commercial server systems. And they are designed and certified -- to meet and exceed the Network Equipment Building System (NEBS) Level 3 standards.
In Advanced Intelligent Networks (AINs), these servers can be used to implement both Service Control Point (SCP) and Adjunct Processor (AP) functions. They can also function as an Intelligent Peripheral (IP) in an AIN network. For Global System for Mobile (GSM) communications digital cellular infrastructures, Netra t servers can be used for Base Station Subsystem (BSS) and Network and Switching Subsystem (NSS) applications, including Home Location Register (HLR), Short Message Server (SMS) and Authentication Center (AuC) applications.
Based on the 300-MHz UltraSPARC? II processors, these servers may be configured for dual-processor operation. Each can also accommodate up to 2 GB of main memory (using 128 MB SIMMs). Server functionality can be expanded using the four, full-size, PCI slots. And up to 9.2 GB of internal disk capacity is available.
