In fact, the GigaplaneTM, our 2.6-GB/sec system interconnect, delivers more than twice the I/O capacity of competing systems. Connected to the Gigaplane are up to 14 high-speed UltraSPARCTM processors, 14 GB of memory, and 14 I/O channels.
