Sun StorEdge 9970 Data System

The SUN StorEdge 9970 is a single cabinet scalable solution which can interoperate easily with existing storage solutions. It allows massive storage expansion for the largest enterprise applications and large scale consolidation.
The StorEdge 9970 provides up to 9.3TB of raw capacity, up to 7.5GB/sec maximum bandwidth, and up to 24 direct host connections (over 3000 in a SAN) supporting FC, ESCON and FICON. The primary use is data consolidation and sharing between multiple disparate open systems and mainframe hosts.
