Solaris Audit Scripts

The procedure to run the script is as follows:
The script runs a sequence of standard Solaris hardware commands and records the outputs into a file of the format machinetype-hostname in the root directory. To run the script it needs to be put onto the machine in question by the root user, made executable, then run. Please run it on all the systems we support and email the resultant output file to our Technical Team
Note: It would be helpful if you could answer initial questions regarding serial and contract number etc.
Making it executable:
# chmod 744 /machinea
Running the audit script:
# ./machinea
The file /machinetype-hostname can then be emailed to Technical Team

HPUX Audit Scripts

The procedure to run the script is as follows:
To run the script it needs to be put onto the machine in question by the root user, made executable, then run. Please run it on all the systems we support and email the resultant output file to our Technical Team

Making it executable:
chmod 777 sysconfig
Running the audit script:
./sysconfig -a -b
Then the output file will be placed in the /tmp folder in the like of sysinfo_host-name_ID and it can then be emailed to Technical Team
